Where he was, where he is going, and the reestablishment of his ideas-this exhibition is a visual timeline that symbolizes Mark Grattan’s maturing journey within his design practice. The work is ripe and so are his sensibilities and discernment of material and palette. Mark’s intentions can be best described as an appreciation for what came first and what is for now, a foundation of language that feels right. An earnestness for complex material applications drove the redevelopment of his work and the development of the new seating collection to be presented together in one space.
